ANSWER: It’s authentic that if you die on Friday, you will be protected from the torment of the grave but going to jannah or not is in Allah’s hands and this is not mentioned in the hadith.

If a person committed sin openly. He/She captures others land illegally, tortures people, quarrelsome with relatives. If he died on Friday. He will be safe from the punishment of Grave. Will Allah not punish him for his bad deeds?

ANSWER: He will be exempted from the torment of the grave but not from Hell.

Sheikh, I got a video regarding an incident that took place in Iran. Men had started digging d qabr for d deceased n some noices comes through it. D more they dug d more d sound of a person screaming n sounds of chains. It sounds so real. They stopped digging n they put a small hole for d noice to come out. Is this true? Can we hear d adhab like that? Or people r trying to mislead us? Guide us pls

ANSWER: This is absolutely fake as humans or jinns cannot hear the punishment that’s being given in the grave.

i hv donated a small piece of land for madrassa where students will read and memorise quran, further i have contributed in construction also, will me and my perents both will be getting rewards, will it save me from azab e qabr and hell fire.

If you have included your parents in it before donating it, they will be rewarded. Saving you from the torment of the grave is in Allah’s hands and there is no specific reward for that. Reciting suratul Mulk every night before going to bed saves you from such torment.

After our death, can our soul directly go to Jannah or in Jahannam or there is another place?

After death is Barzakh. This is the interval between this world and the hereafter where one would remain is his grave, with a window to paradise or to hell.

Regarding the unseen, The person will be told to sit up when Munkar and Nakeer come to him but there will be soil covering the person (or a coffin), so how will the person be able to do so? How will the grave be expanded when it is a limited size?

I was listening to a tape by Shaykh al-Albani (may Allah have mercy on our beloved Shaykh and grant him a lofty maqam in Jannah). The Shaykh said that the first squeeze of the grave will happen to everyone. My question is, will it also happen to martyrs?
